To reach Modena from Milan, take A1 motorway direction south
(follow for Bologna – Firenze) and exit at Modena Sud. To reach Modena from
Austria and Germany, take A22 motorway at the Brenner pass direction Modena,
then take A1 motorway direction south (follow for Modena) and exit at Modena
Nord. To reach Modena from Florence, Rome, Naples and the south in general,
take A1 motorway direction north and exit at Modena Sud. Finally to reach
Modena from Turin and Genova, reach Piacenza (via the A21 motorway) then take
A1 motorway direction south and exit at Modena Nord.

FROM THE NORTH (blue route)
Exit the motorway at Modena Nord and take the “tangenziale” [bypass]
direction Bologna
Continue on the bypass for about 10 km until exit 3 and turn left.
A hundred metres after the 90° bend, the first side road on the left is Via dei
Tornitori; ICS is at no. 41.
FROM THE SOUTH (red route)
Exit the motorway at Modena Sud and go in the direction of Modena.
At the first round about, after 5 km, turn right.
At the next round about, (Via Emilia), turn right.
At the next traffic lights, (T-junction), turn left
After about 600 metres, having passed another set of traffic lights, Via dei
Tornitori is on the right; ICS is at no. 41, just after the crossing with Via
dei Carpentieri
