ICS, Industria Circuiti Stampati [PCB industry], was founded in 1980 to provide a concrete response to the pressing demand for fast, high-quality prototype service.

Over time, while continuing to offer fast prototypes, ICS has equipped itself to supply small and medium production units with fast and prompt delivery times.

This is primarily thanks to the two owners of the company: Enrico Denti, an engineer who has been constantly refining the production progress for twenty years, personally vouching for meeting delivery deadlines, and now dealing with the fine-tuning of the processes, and Piero Denti, who looks after sales and customer relations, and knows how to ascertain and convey both the technical and marketing requirements of the customers.

The customers have always appreciated the quality and punctuality of deliveries and their satisfaction has led to an ever growing number of new customers who have pushed ICS towards higher and higher goals. For ICS the ideal customer is above all a serious customer who seeks, other than a supplier of printed circuit boards, a partner aware of the changing market demands and the related problems.

Since 1983, ICS has been working Teflon-based materials such as Duroid, Cuclad, etc. and since 1986 has been using aqueous photographic solder (more environment-friendly), the first company in Italy to do so. In 1988, it broke into the SMD market with hot air levelling. In 1991, the company acquired a multilayer press and in 1993 a laser photoplotter.

In 1999, the printing processes were improved by using automatic-centring exposing machines and since 2002 ICS has been in a position to guarantee optical testing of the circuit boards.

In 1995, ICS obtained CECC product certification from the IMQ, and a few months later it became ISO 9002 certified. Previously, in 1992, it was UL certified for double-faced circuit boards and in 1993 for multilayer circuit boards.

In addition, ICS quickly adapted its working processes to ISO 9001 certification standards, according to the Vision 2000 rules.

Since 2002, Stefania and Alberto, the owners’ daughter and son, are running the relay race in order to pursue the future objectives of the company.
